One tooth down

Alyssa lost her first tooth this morning! She has been showing me all week how loose her bottom tooth is and then I noticed her new one coming up right behind it. So, this morning she woke up with lots of excitement and showed me that her tooth was loose enough this morning that she pulled it out herself. Amber did the same thing. But I clearly remember that my mother had to pin me down in between her legs to get my first tooth out....but I don't know what she said that may have scared me. I know she went to talk to a neighbor when I was about to loose my tooth and I went running to daddy to save me! After she pinned me down I was still squirming and trying to make her stop when she said "I'm done, your tooth is out".

Anywhoo-- I tried to take a picture but I can't seem to get it to come out.....no pun intended ;p

p.s.....I got allllll my pix from the camera uploaded (finally) and will be posting soon.

Congrats Alyssa. Do you do the Tooth Fairy?

Also, your baby counter in your sidebar is cut off. :(

Yes, in fact, I forgot all about it this morning. Alyssa came into the kitchen and told me the tooth fairy forgot about her and she checked everywhere and then said "I don't know mom, it just doesn't make any sense".

I then said hmmm....(because I forgot) so then I made a quite exit out of the kitchen and she never noticed I was gone for a few seconds while she was reflecting what happened. I then came back to the kitchen to continue breakfast and I asked her if she was sure she had looked everywhere. So, she went with daddy to look again and there it was .75 cents and she yelled momma while she ran in to the kitchen with excitement that she got money....then at the table told us her friend got $6 for her tooth!
    LOL

Yeah, inflation hits everyone doesn't it. I have a friend whose 10 year old daughter lost a tooth on a cruise and the tooth fairy brought her $20!

Yes and as you know them telling us what their friends have is only the beginning! Fun stuff.

Too cute! Hey Rebecca, I can relate to your tooth loosing trauma. I still remember my daddy wanting to tie a string to my tooth and the other end to a door and slamming it. Thank goodness it didn't work and my mom didn't press the issue. I eventually learned how to wriggle them out myself. No quarter was worth announcing it though and going through that again! LOL
