Feeling so much better

Yesterday's message at church is exactly what I needed after last week! In fact, I started wondering who told the pastor exactly what I was going through that the Lord would use to refresh my spirit. Just kidding. I felt so new. ALSO, I got a nice break from the kids yesterday evening. I look a long hot shower, called Jennifer to thank her for the maternity dresses she sent me, and had a nice conversation with her....then I enjoyed quite time until everyone came home!

Pastor Al preached John 11:28. It's best coming from him if you have time. It's under "Sermon" March 1st. http://www.wedgwoodbc.org/content.cfm?id=213

On a completely different note:

I finally found crib bedding and I won't have to repaint the bedroom. I bought it on ebay. It was also A LOT cheaper than the other one with the same amount of pieces. I won the auction for $32, nine pieces in all! The bedroom will probably never look how I want it to with all matching furniture etc....I just don't want colors to clash. I have had a difficult time trying to decorate a room/nursery for two girls and one boy. It's been really hard for me.

I still have to find Michael a comforter since he will be moving to the bottom of the bunk bed soon. First we have to buy a mattress for it because we don't have one. We took it off for Amber's trundle bed that was given to her.

Now for the crib bedding. This set is "Jojo" Designs. This is the same seller I bought Michael's crib bedding from, Amber's new bedding from, and now the crib bedding. I recommend this seller. I have received high quality items every time I needed them and at very reasonable prices that are a blessing to me. I will blog about Amber's bedding later. Now, I need to hunt down some cheap wood letters to decorate and hang Madison's name above the crib.

It includes these 9 pieces:

  • Crib Quilt

  • Crib Bumper

  • Fitted Sheet

  • Crib Skirt (Dust Ruffle)

  • 2 Window Valances

  • Diaper Stacker

  • Toy Bag

  • Decorative Pillow

Glad you are feeling better! I got my letters at either Hobby Lobby or Michael's. I remember looking at both places but I can't remember which one I ended up getting them from. I think they were like $1 or $2 each.

The bedding is gorgeous! I knew you would find something that would work out price wise and style wise.

I sure do hope Madison really is a girl! :)

I'm glad you are feeling better, too! I REALLY like this bedding...better than either of the other two! I love dragonflies and I love all the pieces that you get...so neat! I know you will find the right letters! If you go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels you may even find some little dragonflies that you can use with your ribbon to decorate your letters.
Is the bed you are talking about for Michael on the bottom bunk a twin or full size? If it is twin, I have a blue denim comforter and sham that you can have. I would have to look at them, but I'm pretty sure they are in good condition. It was Graham's set before Wesley had a big boy bed and I always wanted to have Graham's name embroidered on the sham, but I never did. It came from Target. Let me know if you think it will go or if you are interested. :)

I thought about looking at hobby lobby and Michael's. I have only been to them once or twice.

Jenn--I was thinking the same thing. It's ironic you say that about hoping she is really a girl because I was telling Jason the other day I keep wondering if she really is a girl....never thought like that before. I'm probably just thinking it because the nurse at the hospital (treating me after the fall) told me that breech babies are hard to determine the sex accurately because of their position and they have recently had a few born the opposite of what was expected.

I'm glad y'all like the bedding. I was determining weather or not to get the same one in green/sage in case my girl does come out a boy...but I decided she better be a girl.

Shannon--the bed is a Twin size and we would more than welcome the comforter with the sham! Blue is just what I have been looking for! Shanda embroidered Alyssa's name on her princess pillow case that she made for her birthday one year and it is SO CUTE! I want to learn how to do this and get the machine eventually!

Y'all know what's funny? Just before I got pregnant with Michael I gave one of my sweet Korean friends the rest of my infant girl clothing that I had bought to resell on ebay to buy the girls some clothes. But I DON'T feel bad getting rid of them because she had nothing and I love giving and being able to bless people, part of the reason I never have much when my new baby comes is because I give my things to my friends or someone in need....I just thought it was ironic! Guess that was random hu? lol

And would y'all believe it, I have come down sick again!! I never ever get sick! Me and the kids are coughing, stuffy, etc...at least it's nothing more than that but I never get sick and lately it seems like I keep getting a head cold. What is going on? (rhetorical question) lol ;p

Hi there! I love this Dragon Fly Bedding. I think it is precious! I don't know if it helps but I bought everything I could ever need or want off of craigslist.com - I'm not sure if you've ever heard of it... it was my lifesaver when I was doing my nursery! As for the wooden letters - my cousin painted in medium size directly on to the wall the names of her girls and it turned out great! Just an idea :)
